A children’s indoor soft play business is set to open its second East Midlands venue after securing new premises in Market Harborough.
Rascal Ranch has signed a lease for a 9,775 sq ft unit at Welland Business Park, expanding its footprint beyond its first site on Trevanth Road in Leicester.
Managing Director Kavita Patel said the new location offers significant room for growth:
“The unit at Welland Business Park gives us great scope to expand the Rascal Ranch offer. Alongside our open public soft play area, we’ll be adding several bookable private party rooms and installing a fully equipped commercial kitchen to cater for both park visitors and our own customers.
“Local recruitment is well underway. We’ve already appointed a centre manager for the Market Harborough site and expect to have 18 to 20 staff once we’re fully operational in the new year, following a series of planned soft launches ahead of the end of the holiday season.”
Eddisons’ Amanda Lawrence, who handled the letting on behalf of the landlord, said the new addition further strengthens the business park’s diverse mix of tenants.
“Welland Business Park now hosts an eclectic range of occupiers — from industrial and warehousing through to offices and retailers, including Age UK’s regional superstore and national operators like Howdens, Toolstation, BED Electrical and City Plumbing. Rascal Ranch provides another great reason to visit the park, which will benefit existing businesses too.”
